The Beanstalk Library
Rock & Roll Hotel, Friday, October 12

The Beanstalk Library combines elements of 70's singer-songwriter rock, alt-country/Americana, and the adventurous spirit of its hometown, Washington, DC. The songs of Ryan Walker and Brian Kent are laced with shimmering guitars, piano, raging Hammond organ, and 3 and 4 part harmony vocals. The band just released its self-produced debut album, America At Night, driven by solid songwriting, interesting arrangements, and classic melodies.

Sounds Like: The Beatles and The Band had a bratty baby in the polluted Atlantic Ocean that washed up on the Carolina coast and hitchhiked to Washington, DC. [thebeanstalklibrary.com]
